I’m now 1409 kanji into Remembering The Kanji, and the end is within sight…only 633 kanji separate me from the goal, yeah! Today I’m really sleepy, so I think I’m going to skip reps and focus on adding kanji, something I haven’t been able to do much of this week. I have to keep it fun, after all!
I just received the last newsletter from Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda. It was a good farewell address, but I’m still a little puzzled as to why he stepped down. Then again, I haven’t had time to study Japanese politics yet, with so many interesting things going on in our political system! :)
This weekend I will get some photos up, I promise! I have been promising my wife to post the photos of our girls from Peanut’s birthday party and from recent weeks for some time now, and I am determined to post them this time.
Have a good Thursday!

The politics of Japan is not two main political parties like the United States. A lot of political parties exist together. The prime minister in Japan is elected by the political party having a lot of people of diet members. I’m waiting for posting your family’s photos and your portrait.
